The program is intended to provide students with a well-rounded general education and a broad set of skills and knowledge in the basic areas of computer programming and computer science in preparation for graduate school, careers in the information technology field, or pursuits that engage computing in other human endeavors—life sciences, social sciences, physical sciences, creative arts, etc.
